In December we distributed one bag of (15 lbs) rice for the Christmas Holiday gift.

March 1, 2023 Attended March 1st uprising event at San Francisco Community Center San
Francisco & Greater Bay Area (삼 일 절 행사)
March 4, 2023 the Senior Center had a March 1st commemorative event with Seniors, young parents, and students. We are now three Generation organization, so in order to teach the historical events of Korean history to the students, we had the commemoration today.
We had a special program made and everyone was very pleased to see the well documented program. President Yoon's speech was included in our program.

I am not making milk as mandated as some were worried about cancer.
The Senior Center was closed until the pandemic eased. Under this emergency situation, in which the Senior Center was closed for events, the management is working on ways to distribute cash, masks, ginger tea, as we as other ways to help the elderly community. Meals and related services were delivered.

Menu developed by dietician, Joanna Kim Selby, President & Mrs. Bae, Chef. Older Americans Act provides hot meals for seniors through the general AAA guidelines. Rice & kimchi served at every meal. Menu Pattern is based on the caloric requirements for a 70+ year old female whose activity is sedentary. Vit. A Source* (three times per week) (250 ug). Vitamin C Source + = served daily (25 mg). Use fruit as a dessert as often as possible & limit sweets. Menu changes are to be documented.
